Postcards: WETlanta!!

All day I’ve been driving everyone crazy with my obsession with my Marc by Marc Jacobs rainboots. I first bought them a couple months ago when I went on my East Coast tour when I came across them at the Marc by Marc boutique at the end my block on Melrose, but to my dismay it hardly rained in Miami. Unprecedented summer drought. Figures.

The shop has become my unhealthy addiction as I stop by at least once every weekend walking around WeHo running errands, or sometimes late evening to destress after work. I love it because they are alway get in the new lines weeks before the department stores (I discovered Lola the day it arrived in Hollywood, before it ever caught any editorial) but even better, the boutique carries a special items line not available anywhere else that are ridiculously cheap. My prized collection of Marc beach towels at $10 each was my pride until I came across these babies for a ridic $28! But since I spend most of my time between LA and the desert, 8 weeks later, I still hadn’t had a chance to wear them.

Until today when Atlanta fell under flood watch!! I seriously walked a quarter mile in the pouring rain to get coffee just to break them it. It was quite possibly also my first time ever using an umbrella.

P.S. If anyone is in Hollywood and wants to send me these, I wouldn’t be mad at that. xo
